Whether you’re stuck, distracted, overwhelmed, or just longing for something more real, prayer coaching meets you where you are and helps you build from there.

Think of it like physical training—but for your soul. A prayer coach walks alongside you to:

  • Identify and remove blocks to consistent prayer

  • Learn biblical rhythms of intercession, praise, confession, and listening

  • Develop practices that fit your life, not someone else’s

  • Grow confidence in praying Scripture and hearing God’s voice

You don’t need to have it all together to begin. You just need a desire to grow and someone to walk with you.

Five Anchors of Prayer Coaching

Here are five principles we return to often. They aren’t rigid steps—they’re invitations to experience God more deeply in prayer.

1. Start Where You Actually Are

God doesn’t wait for the polished version of you to show up. He meets you in your raw, unfiltered, unedited place. Prayer coaching starts with honest assessment: Where are you? What’s working? What’s not? Then we build something simple and sustainable—like praying a verse at the sink, whispering a breath prayer in the car, or setting a timer for two minutes of silence.

2. Prioritize Presence Over Performance

Prayer isn’t about impressive words. It’s about presence with God. Jesus didn’t give us a formula to recite—He gave us a framework for relationship (Matthew 6:9–13). Prayer coaching helps reshape prayer from pressure into presence. You don’t have to get it right. You just have to show up.

3. Learn to Pray Scripture

If you’ve ever thought, “I don’t know what to say,” you’re not alone. The good news? God gave us words to borrow. The Psalms. The Gospels. Paul’s letters. We teach you how to use Scripture as a foundation for prayer—because praying God’s Word not only anchors your mind, it aligns your heart.

4. Bring Your Blockers Into the Light

5. Practice Listening

Prayer is not just talking. It’s listening. And for many of us, silence is the hardest part. That’s why we start small—one minute of stillness, one open-ended question to God, one space where you journal what you sense. Jesus said, “My sheep hear My voice” (John 10:27). You can learn to recognize it, too.

A Simple Daily Framework

Here’s a prayer rhythm we often use in our prayer coaching. It’s flexible. Life-giving. And simple enough to repeat daily.

1.    Settle: One slow breath. “Here I am, Lord.”

2.    Scripture: Read one verse aloud. Let it land.

3.    Speak: Talk to God honestly—no filter.

4.    Stillness: One minute of quiet. Listen. Jot a word or phrase that rises.

5.    Send: Ask God who needs encouragement today. Follow through.

Repeat. Not out of obligation, but because the relationship is worth it.
