Hello! I'm Julie Lynn. I graduated with a Masters of Science in Thanatology (death, grief and bereavement), and I am a member of the Association for Death Education and Counseling for ongoing education in this ever changing field. I'm mom to adult sons Landon and Kyle & wife to my very best friend of 29 years, Doug. I worked and volunteered in the hospice industry for years and there developed a God-given passion to support grieving people. I now have my own grief support ministry (both in person and online) where my specialty is working with people one on one who need unique support following a death loss.

Grief coaching has a very important place in a world that can be uncomfortable discussing the ripple effects of a death loss much past the funeral. Some themes we explore together in grief coaching are: secondary losses, identity questions, loss of equilibrium, and changes in relationships or future planning after a significant death loss. We also respectfully and carefully think through new goals for the future, all with the loss in mind (the future doesn't look the way it did before a significant loss).

When I'm not at work, you'll find me watching various sports (playoff sports are my favorite) singing in a local community chorus, writing or traveling with Doug.
