Dwight is happily married for more than 34 years and adores being a father to 4 children and one grandchild. Dwight’s professional background is diverse and reflects 25 plus years of professional experience working in public service. He has worked at the State, Local and Federal Government levels, as both a civilian, sailor and volunteer. His true passion is working with urban as well as suburban youth and young adults. He has been both a coach and mentor to this population at a local community center. He started out as a sports coach and mentor at the Recreation Center in 1995.
In 1998, he founded the EOVBAA now a recognized outreach, for the purpose of not only impacting, but also enriching the lives of young people, youth leaders, adults and senior citizens through sports and various community and outreach activities.
Coach Dwight, who is quite active in his local church travels under God’s covering. He willingly speaks as a faith–based youth and young adult teacher and motivator to all ages. He has served on local boards, Mayors Commission, and currently serves on a Gubernatorial Board. Dwight is Co-founder of Marriagemapp.com Mentoring and Coaching LLC. Dwight holds a bachelor’s degree and is a Certified Life Coach, ACC - ICF. Dwight is the author of the self-published book, entitled “The Call of a Mentor” Dwight is the author of Marriage is HeartWork for “Husbands” Journal & co-author of Marriage is HeartWork for ‘Couples” Journal. Dwight is a Podcast Host for The Call of a Mentor “Youth & Recreation Sports Talk” and Marriage Talk. Dwight’s coaching passion revolves around accountability, confidence, empathy and goal setting. He has worked with married couples, individuals, military veterans, youth, young adults and those who simply want to elevate their servant's heart.
